Case Reports: Clinical, medical & surgical is an open access, peer-reviewed journal with broad scope covering all areas of case reports, research work conducted as case reports in the medical field on various types of diseases, covering their respective clinical and diagnosis issues. The Journal is supported by an international editorial board consisting of a distinguished team of researchers.

Clinical Case Reports is different to other case report journals. Our aim is to directly improve global health outcomes and share clinical knowledge using case reports to convey important best practice messages. We welcome case reports, clinical images, and procedural videos from all areas of Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry, and Veterinary Science. Case reports integrate preclinical, translational, and clinical research in different medical fields, from epidemiology, through to innovations in treatment and patient care.

The journal publishes original research, reviews, previews, editorial comments and Case Reports related to cancer: Case reports, Anatomy, Epidemiology, Internal Medicine, Neuroscience, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Trauma Surgery, Embryology, Genetics, Physiology, Urology, Endocrinology, Medicine Neurosurgery, Pediatrics, Pathology, Epidemiology, Clinical Pharmacology, Clinical Medicine, Cardiology, General Surgery, Otolaryngology, Orthopedic, Pulmonology, Anesthesia, Family Medicine, Molecular Biology, Radiology, Gastrointestinal Surgery Gastrointestinal Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Maxillo-facial Surgery, Toxicology, Dentistry, Gastroenterology etc. All manuscripts published by Case Reports are made freely accessible online immediately upon publication. 

Case reports undergo rigorous peer-review process where each manuscript undergoes evaluation by the in-house editorial board member first and then, if appropriate, is reviewed by a minimum of three independent reviewers within 2–3 weeks of submission. The interval between acceptance and publication online is 8 days. Clinical Case Reports aims to provide a platform for publishing unusual, unique, and rare clinical cases and images to enhance the clinical understanding of disease and to convey important clinical information.

Case Reports considers original case reports, case studies, case series, clinical images, clinical videos, and letters from all the areas of clinical medicine to create a valuable collection of cases in all clinical disciplines. Clinical Case Reports content will be published on a continuous publication model. Each issue contains several articles dealing with original laboratory investigations and articles dealing with clinical studies.

There are sections devoted to review articles, pro and con discussions of controversial subjects, meeting reports, and editorials. The panel discussions encourage experts to consider important topics. There is a section for letters to the editor, which provides for a lively exchange of opinions on previously published articles or other topics of interest. There is also an opportunity to publish the proceedings of special workshops, symposia, etc., devoted to case Reports. All manuscripts are peer reviewed by a distinguished group of advisory editors from many countries covering all of the various disciplines of clinical medical fields.

Case Reports follows a progressive editorial policy that encourages researchers to submit the original research, reviews and editorial observations as articles; we publish Original Research, Review Articles, Case Studies, Methodologies or Methods, Survey reports, Image articles and short reviews well supported by tables and graphic representation. A manuscript number will be provided to the author within 24 hours.
